Sunny Cheeba is a multidimensional creative weaving her passions of DJing, farming and plant alchemy into her life’s work. Born and raised in the Bronx, she draws inspiration from the rhythms and sounds that make up her Nuyroican upbringing to give you that authentic home grown flavor. She is co-founder of Uptown Vinyl Supreme. A DJ collective preserving the analog roots of music, party and dance culture. From Park Jams to SummerStage, their crates have traveled throughout NYC living out the motto "Vinyl to the People" for the past decade.

Her selections know no bounds or borders. She conjures a spellbinding tapestry gathering inspiration from the timeless grooves of Soul, Funk, and Disco, to the rhythmic magic of House, Hip-Hop, and R&B, to the diasporic beats of Salsa, Reggae, Afro-Beat and beyond. Her mission on any given dance floor is liberation of the mind, body, and soul.

She recently performed at Defected in Croatia, made her debut at Hi Ibiza with Glitterbox in 2024, was a special guest emcee at Red Bull Culture Clash, graced the decks at Dante’s Hifi numerous times and is a regular at Public Records in Brooklyn.
